Facebook Video Ad for Skincare Product

GlowUp Naturals, a fast-growing organic skincare brand, approached us to create a 15-second Facebook video ad that would drive engagement, build trust, and generate direct sales for their new Vitamin C serum. They needed a short-form video optimized for mobile and designed to stop the scroll and convince users to buy.

We scripted, edited, and produced a fast-paced, visually engaging ad with crisp product close-ups, benefit overlays, and a strong call to action. The video was fully optimized for the Facebook and Instagram ad ecosystem, including subtitles for sound-off viewing, high contrast colors, and mobile dimensions (4:5 format).

01. The Challenge

GlowUp Naturals had previously run photo-based ads that performed okay but didn’t generate many direct purchases. They needed a scroll-stopping video that could quickly communicate the value of their product to a cold audience.

Another challenge was differentiating their serum from the dozens of similar products on the market. It wasn’t enough to just show the bottle – the video had to build trust, show real skin transformations, and create urgency in just 15 seconds.

02. The Solution

We started by writing a tight script focused on problem-solution storytelling. The structure of the video was:

  1. Hook (first 3 seconds): “Still struggling with dark spots?”

  2. Product shots: Before/after images, serum application close-up

  3. Text overlay: “Brightens skin in 7 days – 100% organic”

  4. Call to Action: “Shop now – Limited time offer!”

We edited the video using high-conversion techniques:

  • Fast cuts + soft transitions

  • Eye-catching motion graphics

  • Subtle background music

  • Clean white and pastel color palette

  • Optimized text overlays for mobile readability
